Welcome Message from the Chairman of the Board
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the KCR 2026 (46th Korean College of Rheumatology Annual Scientific Meeting & 20th International Symposium), which will take place at Conrad in Seoul, Korea from May 14 (Thu.) to May 16 (Sat.), 2026.
Over the years, the KCR has been dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and international collaboration in the field of rheumatology. With the continued support of our colleagues from around the world, our annual meeting has grown into a truly global platform where knowledge is shared, innovative ideas are exchanged, and lasting professional networks are formed. KCR 2026 will provide a comprehensive scientific program, including keynote lectures, international and joint symposia, and free paper presentations. This meeting is designed to highlight the latest research, clinical advances, and practical applications in rheumatology, offering valuable opportunities for both seasoned experts and emerging scholars.
In addition, K-Culture offers all of you countless opportunities for discovery and inspiration through K-pop, K-movie, K-architecture and K-cuisine melted in traditions and modern lifestyle of Korea. We hope that your stay will not only be academically rewarding but also enriched by these cultural experiences, leaving you with lasting memories of both the meeting and Korea. We sincerely hope that this year’s gathering will inspire fruitful discussions, strengthen global partnerships, and ultimately contribute to the improvement of the lives of patients living with rheumatic diseases.
On behalf of the KCR, I warmly invite you to join us and wish you a rewarding and memorable experience at KCR 2026.
Warm regards,
Seung Cheol Shim, MD, PhD
