Dr. Xiaoqing Wang is an emerging researcher in the field of rheumatology and immunology. She has demonstrated strong academic productivity, with one SCI paper published as the first author in Chemical Biology & Drug Design (JCR Q2). In addition, she currently has four manuscripts under review as the first author, focusing on novel mechanisms of inflammasome activation and pyroptosis in systemic autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Wang has actively participated in academic exchanges, delivering more than ten conference presentations (including oral reports and posters) at national and international rheumatology meetings. Her research focuses on the role of the inflammasome complex and pyroptosis — a form of inflammatory cell death — in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic sclerosis. She aims to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets by dissecting the molecular pathways driving chronic inflammation and tissue damage.
Through continuous scientific exploration and clinical training, Dr. Wang aspires to contribute to the development of precision medicine strategies for patients with complex autoimmune disorders.
