Dr. Hyun Ah Kim is professor of Medicine at Hallym University. She is an adult rheumatologist and has played an important role in promoting the health policy for patients with rheumatic diseases. She was dedicated to the research in the pathogenesis and epidemiology of osteoarthritis. In addition, she wrote many papers regarding the policy issue for improvement of Korean health care. She wrote several books for lay-persons to help improve the utilization of modern medicine and was listed as a best-seller writer.
