  • Dr. Youngjae Park is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea. He received his medical degree from the Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine in 2011 and completed his Ph.D. at the same institution in 2023. After completing his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Catholic Medical Center, he undertook fellowship training in rheumatology at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, where he subsequently served as a clinical assistant professor from 2021 to 2024 before assuming his current faculty position. Dr. Park is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology in Korea. His clinical and research interests focus on systemic autoimmune diseases, particularly Sjögren’s disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, and systemic sclerosis. His work has addressed clinical phenotyping, salivary gland ultrasonography, metabolomic and microbiome-based biomarkers, and immunopathogenic mechanisms in systemic autoimmune diseases.
